KORMO was built by a solo founder in Dhaka with one simple mission: To eliminate the friction of haggling from the informal labor market.

The Problem

In the current gig economy, whether you are trying to hire an AC mechanic or a plumber, you face a tedious process of calling multiple people, negotiating prices, and hoping they show up on time. Workers, on the other hand, spend hours scrolling through jobs, placing bids, and paying high subscription fees just for the chance to win a contract.

The KORMO Solution

We replaced bidding with a Real-Time Spatial Radar (similar to ride-sharing algorithms).

• For Customers: You open the app, type in what you need, and set the exact cash amount you want to pay.
• For Workers: You go "Online". If a job matches your skills and falls within your 5km radius, it flashes on your screen. The first person to tap "Accept" gets the job instantly.
