1. Introduction

Welcome to Kormo Technologies Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using KORMO, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

To provide the KORMO service, we collect the following highly sensitive data types:

• Location Data (GPS): For Workers, we collect precise background location data when you are marked as "Online" to broadcast nearby jobs to your Radar. We do not track your location when you are offline. For Customers, we collect location data when you post a job to dispatch the nearest worker.
• Biometric & Identity Data: To verify Worker identity and prevent fraud, we collect your National ID (NID) and a Live Selfie. This data is processed securely using AWS Rekognition for automated matching.
• Financial Data: We store transaction histories and wallet balances. Payment processing is handled by SSLCommerz; we do not store your credit card or bKash PINs.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To instantly match Customers with nearby Workers via our zero-bidding dispatch engine.
• To enforce safety protocols by verifying Worker identities.
• To process commission deductions and subscription payments.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We only share your data with essential infrastructure partners:

• AWS (Amazon Web Services): For facial recognition processing.
• Cloudflare R2: For secure encrypted image storage.
• SSLCommerz: To process bKash/Nagad/Card deposits.
• Twilio / Local SMS Gateway: To send authentication OTPs.

We do not sell your data to advertisers.

5. Account Deletion & Data Retention

You have the right to request the complete deletion of your personal data.

• In-App: Go to Settings -> Security -> Delete Account.
• Web: Visit Account Deletion Page and submit a request.

Upon request, we will permanently delete your profile, location history, and biometric data within 7 days, unless retention is required by Bangladeshi law for financial dispute resolution.
